I should have gone to work today. I didn't.
The internal rectal abscess I have was hurting this morning, so if it was hurting after lying in bed and doing nothing it would have been very painful standing, walking and bending for 7 hours. Instead I ate a medium sized bar of cadbury's bubbly and two refresher bars (it said they were giant but seemed small), watched tv, listened to music and played on the internet.
