Friday Fitty

Don't you want Jon Snow to give you the biggest cuddle ever?
No?  Just me then.

Heart you, Jon.

T-shirt Farmer

You know T-Shirt Farmer, right?  He's in my top hotties at work.  Well I saw him today and he wasn't wearing a t-shirt - O.M.G.  Instead he was sporting a loose fitting, stripped pale blue shirt.  I didn't like it and I much prefer it when he wears t-shirts.  I think it's because it makes him look younger and I can see his arms.

Must have it

I went to see friends in London over Xmas and I made everyone go to Liberty's because I hadn't been there.  My eagle eyed friend _a_y__ found this.
Can't believe we didn't buy it or take a picture.

Extreme body modification

I often trawl the internet to find strange and disturbing images of people who have modified their body.  I don't know why I do this but it's quite enjoyable.

I've stumbled on this guy:

Not only does he have huge stretchers in his ear lobes, they're in the top of the ear, the nose and lip.  I suppose I have to respect that he is living his life without compromising the way he wants to look but I can't help but hear my father saying "but who would employ HIM".

Maybe he's an artist, gourmet donut baker or dog groommer.

M.I.A - x0x0x

Friday Fitty

Pretty much perfect.

OMG

Just stole this picture from another blog.  Does it explore the boundary between childhood play/oral fascination/Freud/bad taste vs good taste, or does it just look good?

Diplo - BlackBerry commercial

So you know that annoying BlackBerry Torch advert were that good looking, globe trotting, douche bag dj goes on about how his phone helps him live his life or whatever?  Well it turns out his a real dj, called Diplo, and is actually pretty good.  Below is said advert:

I found this out from reading a blog called, katiebrunt.co.uk, that was recommended to me by my friend D____. Apparently he was behind that really good M.I.A tune, Paper Planes.  Here's a link to one of his best remixes:

London Preppy

I follow London Preppy on Twitter and I've had two replies from him now.  I find that really exciting.  Also I just bought a collection of short stories called 'Boys and Girls' that he contributed to, along with the Two Door Cinema Club album.  Looking forward to the post man coming over the next few days.

UPDATE: I read the story London Preppy published under the name North Morgan.  I liked it and let him know but I am more confused as to the division of fiction and fact in the London Preppy blog and the writer behind it.  I used to think it was mainly fact but having tweeted London Preppy/North Morgan/?/ a few times I am unsure.

Reading - Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens

Currently I'm reading Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens and I'm enjoying it.  If I finish it then it will be the first Dickens novel I have finished outside of school.  I started reading David Copperfield about 2 years ago but gave up half way through and haven't revisited it.  I found the plot too grand with lots of side stories;  it began to ramble.  My Oxford phd friend said he was paid per word so maybe he did it on purpose.

The narrative in O.T is much more succinct except for a couple of chapters in the middle with the Maylie family who look after him after their servant shoots him in the act of robbing their house, under the supervision of Bill Sikes.

Anyway, fingers crossed I finish it.

Top 4 hotties

There are 4 main men I lust after at my work.  I only know one of their names so I've given them nicknames.

In order of preference they are:

1. Brown shoes, bacon crisps
When I first saw him he was wearing brown shoes with a grey suit and I quite liked it.  And he often eats bacon flavoured crisps.  He's mid 50s, has light brown/grey hair and has a cute smile.  Obviously he's married (love married men - not sure why but it might be the ordinariness/convention/air of stability) but something about him makes me imagine he goes cruising or to gay saunas.
2. Fat Paul Newman
So he looks a bit like Paul Newman and is a bit fat but in a nice way.  The way big built people carry a bit of extra weight that makes them look a bit chunky and blokey.  He has the.most.amazing.eyes; I look into them and melt and blush a little.  I have a feeling he knows I love him because he seems a  bit awkward when I serve him. I'm not fussed about having sex with him I just want to cuddle up to his tummy and have a kiss.
3. T-Shirt Farmer
Continuing my literal and no nonsense approach to nicknames this guy often wears a t-shirt and I think he looks like a farmer (tall, big, gentle and strong with big hands).  I've never seen him with a lady friend so at one time I thought he might be gay but instead I concur he's lonely and divorced or doesn't let his wife come out.  Anyway he's a total dish with grey hair and late 50s, maybe early 60s.
4. J.L
J.L are his initials and is a regular where I work and is well known by the customers and staff.  He's the only one I know the name of.  J.L's short (5'7ish), bit of a tummy, wears glasses has silver grey hair in a side parting and is well dressed.  A lot of people think he's a bit gay and so do I but he often mentions his 'GIRLFRIEND' unnecessarily in conversation and barely looks at or flirts with me, so he probably isn't but is just a bit camp.

Derek Rose Pyjamas

Derek Rose James 1

For Christmas I asked for two things: some posh pjs and a pair of slippers.  I didn't get the slippers but managed to steal a spare pair of really nice ones my Dad got but I did get some pyjamas.  They were from the PINK store in Birmingham's Mail Box and I didn't like them; they were too big, stripped and felt cheap (even though they cost £90), so I took them back with the intention of getting some nicer ones.  After weeks of procrastination I ordered some on the DEREK ROSE website and they arrived today.  I am very disappointed.  They were £109 and feel a bit cheap; I might send them back if I can be bothered.

Sperry Deck Shoe Boots

Bought these Sperry deck shoes a few days ago in the sale for £50 and I'm very pleased with them.
I find it hard to get a deck shoe I'm happy with because a lot of them are uncomfortable but these felt really good as soon as I put them on.  Sperry might be my deck shoe of choice from now on.
